Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®
MBTI workshop in Orange County
The MBTI ASSESSMENT is ideal for a wide range of applications, including:
- Team development
- Helps ease communication among team members, identify team strengths and weaknesses, and create action plans for improved performance.
- Leadership development
- Conflict management
- Stress management
- Career transition & planning
The goal of knowing about personality type is to understand and appreciate differences between people. As all types are considered equal, there is no best type.
The MBTI instrument sorts for preferences and does not measure trait, ability, or character. The MBTI tool is different from many other psychological instruments and also different from other personality tests.
The best reason to choose the MBTI instrument to discover your personality type is that hundreds of studies over the past 40 years have proven the instrument to be both valid and reliable. In other words, it measures what it says it does (validity) and produces the same results when given more than once (reliability). When you want an accurate profile of your personality type, ask if the instrument you plan to use has been validated.
Christie is a Certified MASTER Practitioner, a distinction less than 200 people throughout the US and Canada hold. She is able to administer the MBTI ® instrument, MMTIC®, Strong Profile and Firo-B ® instruments. These tools can be taken online or with a paper version depending on your needs. The MBTI is a class B psychological instrument and does require the interpretation of a certified practitioner and Christie is able to conduct group workshops for your organization or one-on-one coaching sessions either in-person, via SKYPE or over the phone: (714) 864-9312.
